Rear axle / gearbox to suit a John Deere 855 Gator, part no MIA11747. Taken from a vehicle that was test driven forward and backwards, all seemed fine however the output shaft for the front propshaft has been rounded off / teeth stripped quite badly. It could go straight back in and would work fine as a rear wheel drive only vehicle, but will need attn to get the front driver element working again. Please study the pictures, and any measurements stated on this item very carefully. Whilst this item was definitely removed from a year 2005, diesel John Deere HPX Gator 4×4. It was a Frankenstein machine! Someone (seemingly of dubious mechanical ability) had attempted to graft the complete subframes and running gear from an 855 XUV gator into the frame of an HPX Gator. With a few other bits and pieces added / removed along the way to confuse things more. Basically his idea did NOT work, hence the reason we have it here for breaking. Mostly it was quite obvious what was original, and what was not but in this case it will certainly pay you to study the pictures carefully prior to ordering anything as mistakes are a very real possibility with this one! Stock Number 138 29 48. Cylinder head- 362A / NA72. In’as removed’ condition so ideally wants a clean up and skim prior to refitting. Removed from an engine that had suffered crank failure. Head gasket did NOT appear to be blown prior to removal. This head does show some surface corrosion around valves (top and bottom) as pictured, it was removed a while ago and left open. Nothing serious, and will im sure clean up perfectly well. Certainly no cracks or serious dmage evident.
